Easy Cheesecake Recipes

Most people buy their cheesecake at restaurants or the local bakery because they think that making a cheesecake from scratch is too much work and perhaps, beyond their expertise. If you've always wanted to bake your own homemade cheesecake, then you'll be thrilled with this easy cheesecake recipe. You can find many cheesecake recipes all over the internet that are sinfully delicious, but some of the baking directions can sound a bit intimidating 

Below you will find an easy cheesecake recipe that has a few simple ingredients and doesn't require much skill. So if this is your first time baking a cheesecake, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it really is to do. Preparation Directions:

The first thing you'll want to make sure you do ahead of time is to remember to take your cream cheese out of the fridge and leave at room temperature for at least an hour before you're ready to use it. Open the container and scoop the cream cheese into a bowl to allow it soften up better.

Ingredients: 

3 packages of 8 ounce cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 premade 9oz graham cracker crust

Next: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and find a heat resistant pan, add a little water in the pan and put it in the over on the bottom rack.
This will provide needed moisture during the baking process. You will also be lowering the oven temperature during baking.

Next: Beat all 3 packages of cream cheese on medium until smooth and creamy. Add 3/4 cup sugar and beat until the sugar is well blended. Add the 3 eggs one at a time, beating on medium until each egg is well blended. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat just until everything is mixed well.  Don't over do the beating process. Too much beating will result in the cheesecake being too tough.

Next: Pour the mixture into your premade graham cracker crust. Most grocery stores sell them. You can get creative and experiment with different flavored crusts. I hear the chocolate crust is very tasty with cheesecake.

Next: Bake in the preheated 450 degree over for ONLY 10 minutes. At that point, immediately decrease the oven temperature to 250 degrees. Bake for 20 minutes longer or until the center of the cheesecake is almost set. It is very important that you try to refrain from opening the oven door before the cheesecake is done. Use the oven window to peek if you must. When done, take the cheesecake out to cool.

If this is your first cheesecake, one of great things about this easy cheesecake recipe is that you can use yummy toppings to cover any cracks or even to hide that top of the cheesecake if it comes out a little to brown. Use your imagination, you can try cherries or other fruit toppings, whipped cream. Or how about melted chocolate chips? There are so many possibilities for topping this easy cheesecake recipe, unlike traditional New York cheesecake where naked is by far the better choice.
